I visited King Beach Tavern with my family for dinner yesterday and was very disappointed with the experience. We waited 45 minutes just for our starter to arrive, which was frustrating. In the end, all of the food was brought out at once—including the starter—making the whole meal feel rushed and poorly timed. The service felt disorganised and inattentive, and it really took away from what was meant to be a relaxed family dinner. We expected much better, but unfortunately, the long wait and lack of coordination left us disappointed.

Came on a Monday for a late lunch. Unfortunately Steak was over-cooked, chewy and difficult to eat. (Ordered medium-rare, I would call it well done.) Couldn't fault the service by staff who seated me and served me from the bar.

Very disappointed with our meals last night - 3 of us ordered the Eye Fillet, all requesting medium rare - they all came out medium/well if not well done! For $43 you would think you'd get a steak cooked the way you request, plus the "mashed potato" tasted like instant packet mash. I will say that we spoke to a staff member, who voiced our complaint to the manager and were first offered a free drink and dessert, which we did not want and so then we were offered a refund, which was very much appreciated and we thank the staff member for how well she dealt with our concerns. I'll also comment on the lack of customer service from the bar staff - we really felt that we were an inconvenience when we ordered drinks. Considering it's just a pub the prices they charge are ridiculous!

Terrible service, and even worst food. Meals took over 2 hours, steak burnt suppose to be medium, staff were rude. Manager said no apology. This place is a joke. Never again. This is how our 1pm lunch booking went down. After receiving our warm sparkling drinks dumped on the table and no interaction from any staff, we ordered our mains at 1.24pm. At 2.30pm we moved inside and let the staff know as it was getting too hot on the deck. At 2.40pm, I walked to the kitchen to ask if our lunch mains are coming and asked to speak with the manager. She was yelling to the kitchen staff, Table 43 have gone, dump their meal. Table 43 was my order and I called over to say that’s our order that we already paid for. She said I’ll be straight out. It came out at 2.49pm. We understand they were busy but no apology for the wait. Another dump and run. My $33 medium rump was dry, overcooked and disgusting (photo attached). I should have let them dump it. It was after 3pm and my friends never received their mains. They asked for a refund which they did receive in cash. But no apology from the manager. Nothing. It was the worst dining experience we have ever experienced and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We just had the Best Seafood Chowder by Far! Outstanding Taste and great presentation. Great Job By Chef Ryan! Thumbs up 👍 to You! A high five 👋 to the Staffs service as well. Highly Recommend! Cheers, Teri & Matt
