A delicious Christmas lunch with plenty of variety. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were pleasant and attentive.

Even though I only had the "Lunch Special" Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Burger" (it's not a sandwich :) ) it was the little things that make the difference and the attention to details that you remember. It was only a burger but as I said above, it is the attention to detail that show that the Chef is properly trained and more importantly, cares. The burger bun was toasted. Tick The plate it came on was HEATED! Hallelujah! Cafes and restaurants of Brisbane, take note. Seriously! Write this down: Hot food is served on a hot plate, NOT a cold plate. Cold food is served on a cold plate. It's not the difficult. You'll be surprised how many places that charge $30+ for a hot dish serve it on a cold plate. That's just lazy. Diners of Brisbane, we deserve better. But for a $20 Lunch Special to have a toasted bun and come on a warm/hot plate is saying A LOT. Keep it up Crown Hotel!!

Forgot to take photos of the food this time as it looked too good so I dug straight in! I ordered the ‘chicken supreme’ for lunch, and will definitely be ordering again next time I visit this hotel. The pumpkin purée was absolutely divine & the chicken was cooked perfectly. All other meals looked amazing & the rest of my family was also very happy with their meals. Plenty of parking available on site. Great service. Amazing atmosphere, beautiful beer garden downstairs & a talented jazz band was playing when we visited on Sunday afternoon. The decor is also beautiful, also love the bring the outdoors ‘in’ with all of the plants & greenery inside the restaurant! 🪴 Perfect place for a Sunday afternoon session! Love the vibe here. Have been happy with all 3 visits I’ve made here over the last 10 months, will be back soon! 💛

Ordered the fish and chips. Luckily there were chips on my plate and the fish was so small it was unrecognisable. For $31 simply must do better. And please, get rid of QR code ordering. You are a service industry, provide some service.

Awesome atmosphere when we arrived at crown hotel on the weekend. We didn’t have a booking and despite it being rather busy our group was seated quickly with a smile. Drinks are all reasonably priced for the quality and prompt service. Cocktails were great from what I heard and presentation was that of a high class cocktail bar in the city. Steaks cooked how we ordered and the seafood dish was fresh and tasty. 100% will be back to visit this pub again and ordering meals. Great to see a pub like this on the Northside kicking goals
