Had dinner here with family. Pre-booking available online which was convenient and easy to use. Arrived and was greeted by staff and showed to our table. Team was great apart from the two staff girls at the bar who were having a full on conversation and could see I was standing there waiting for their attention. Luckily the other staff member who was making drinks noticed I was standing there and attended to me. Food and beverages were great. Nice and spacious inside. Great view from the veranda. Overall, we had a great time.

Classic Australian beachside pub with wide verandas and an open feel inside. Located straight across from the beach at the northern end of Burleigh Heads, it’s a great spot to stop off for a thirst quencher when walking from Burleigh to Miami or vice versa. Had an early pint so can’t comment on the food but it is all clean and modern so I expect it’s great. Recommended.

Christmas Dinner with friends where they closed the bar at 8.30 even though we were still eating. Told to go to sports bar down stairs if we wanted a drink. Asked for a coffee and told to go downstairs to pokies to get one. There were still 6 tables of diners in the restaurant. The lights inside and on the balcony were turned on full at 8.45pm. This no doubt the sign to leave. Tuesday night the week prior to Christmas. We had an entree of buffalo wings, very messy but tasty. Then shared a seafood pizza which had excess cheese excess garlic, a minimal amount of prawns, about 4 half slices of cherry tomatoes. Absolutely no seafood flavour at all. Terrible. Our friends did enjoy the mussels though. I'm sorry to leave such a bad review but very disappointing as the venue is lovely.
