We had our daughter’s 18th birthday celebration at Maggie May. A pleasure to deal with from the first email, we received efficient communication which ensured stress free planning. We could not fault the drinks, food platters, service and atmosphere. Our experience was enjoyable and hassle free and I would highly recommend Maggie May to host your special event.

Maggie May Wednesday Night Trivia – A Spartan’s Trial by Battle (and Fries) Brothers and sisters, gather round, for tonight, we do not march upon the battlefield of Thermopylae, nor do we stand against the might of Xerxes' horde. Nay, tonight we battle a far greater foe — a Trivia Night at Maggie May! And lo, it was a test of wit, wisdom, and how many random facts about 90s sitcoms one can recall after three pints of lager (there was no mead on tap). Trivia is hosted by Harry's Trivia. Our company, the noble Guessperado tribe, had fought under Harry’s banner before, in both the treacherous arena of Felons Barrel Hall and the sacred training ground of Harry’s Kids Trivia (where younglings are honed into warriors of knowledge) also held at Felons on Sunday's. But here at Maggie May? No Harry. Our fearless general was absent, leading his legions elsewhere, leaving us under the command of Courtney. A worthy substitute, aye, but it was not the same as having Harry. The first wound of the night: The Registration Fee. Harry, hear me now — why must we barter in cash or bank transfer like traders of old? Is this not the age of tap-and-go? Wherefore dost thou not allow us to pay online like the modern warriors we are? Yet, despite the wounds, the battle raged on! The spoils of war? $200 in gold (cash), $125 in tavern vouchers, and the legendary Harry’s Squishy. A bounty fit for the gods! But beware — Harry’s Trivia insists on marking answer sheets themselves rather than letting tables swap and engage in glorious competitive banter. This slowed the game, sapping the fire from the battlefield. Let us fight our own battles, Harry! Let us mark with honour and mock with impunity! No audio-visual screens. A tragedy most dire for those of us who crave bright lights and distractions to keep our mighty ADHD-addled minds focused. But let us not despair, for there was food — a feast fit for warriors. The fries? Crispy perfection. So divine, we ordered two more portions in tribute. And lo, the Reuben sandwich? A culinary shield-maiden, both delicious and formidable. And so, the final reckoning: 9 teams. We stood in 5th place. A respectable finish, though not atop the podium of the gods. Fear not — we shall return... some day. And next time, we shall be stronger, faster, and perhaps armed with a Reuben sandwich in each hand. Till then, we drink, we feast, we prepare. For trivia is eternal.

Friendly staff, great prompt service at a work Xmas party. Nice decor and the food was nice for share plates. Recommended for groups. We did an organised group "Clay and Sip" session with clay modelling which was fun.

We recently celebrated our business’s 4th birthday with a long lunch, and the experience was absolutely incredible! Special shout out to Sarah, who on just her second day on the job brought our vision to life and made the entire event so seamless and enjoyable. Chef Jason single-handedly catered to our group of 18 (you wouldn't have guessed he was working solo) with exceptional food that left everyone impressed. And Taya made sure everyone always had a drink in hand, which added to the great vibe of the day. I can’t recommend the team at Maggie May enough for any special occasion—they truly went above and beyond!

Highly recommend every foodie in town to have brunch or lunch at Maggie May. The food was fantastic! Everyone of them did not disappoint. It was genuine comfort food and it made our day to have them on a beautiful chilly but sunny day in Brisbane. Great place to bring your friends to relax together and enjoy delicious food. Have a drink or two and then head down the river for a walk or even walk over to TK max if you feel like some retail therapy right after. Maggie May is the place to be. 🫶🏼
