I had the Mexican topper parmi and it was so good. Probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in cairns. I’m not sure if it’s usually served like this but I asked for the sour cream and avocado separately and it tasted and presented well. Waiting time was also reasonable till from when we ordered till when we received our meal.

The restaurant staff were generally friendly and attentive, the venue is great with the atmosphere being very relaxed. The food is ok, but you’ll get a better steak at the surf club. Dedicated kids area and great for sports fans, but if you want to watch a game of footy that finishes after 10 only the sports bar stays open, where service was a bit slow. For the restaurant i’d recommend to book in advance for larger groups if you want a table

Was too busy the first time we went, so had to come back another night (after we booked). Food was great, especially the $2 wings on wings night (+ trivia)! There was a kids area and the place was very relaxed. If you are staying at the mantra amphora, you receive 10% off.

Great location, friendly staff and nice vibe. Has a pool table around the side and both inside and outside seating. Plenty of screens playing the footy and other sports. Food was pricey and would have expected a bigger portion. Well at least chips with calamari. But the crispy barramundi was delicious. A couple gluten free options but nothing life changing. Chips are not gluten free.

Had a spot reserved after a wedding reception. The reception finished at 10.30, we all planned to come back here and as soon as we walked in straight away told off for even talking and that we needed water because they didn’t know how much we had to drink. Walked in to go to the toilet, being followed by security instantly. Bought a couple drinks, told off for trying to sit outside in their own outside area. Staff were rude when all we were simply trying to do was bring them business and money at 10.30 at night when they had no customers in there. You would think they would be nice to customers who were bringing them business on a night they were quiet.
