Recent visit during celebration of both my husband's and my 60ths. We only got a beer and a pizza to share, but pizza was quite nice. Tables were sticky and it's not the most comfortable place to dine. Also being aware now that this tavern has openly expressed they are not supporting Australia day, was a put off as we wouldn't have eaten there!

I had the Mexican topper parmi and it was so good. Probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in cairns. I’m not sure if it’s usually served like this but I asked for the sour cream and avocado separately and it tasted and presented well. Waiting time was also reasonable till from when we ordered till when we received our meal.

The restaurant staff were generally friendly and attentive, the venue is great with the atmosphere being very relaxed. The food is ok, but you’ll get a better steak at the surf club. Dedicated kids area and great for sports fans, but if you want to watch a game of footy that finishes after 10 only the sports bar stays open, where service was a bit slow. For the restaurant i’d recommend to book in advance for larger groups if you want a table

A local favourite with a great selection of food and drinks and their open from 10.00am to 12.00am 7 days a week. Food was tasty and generous in size and very reasonably priced. Try the garlic bread or crispy sweet chilli glazed chicken wings as an entree. And the creamy chilli prawn & chorizo linguini or the works burger or the Greek feast pizza and house salad or the lamb shank or nasi goreng for mains. Everything was fresh and crispy and served quickly. Seating was very comfortable for couples or families and the restaurant was very clean, and the outdoor music and big screen TVs just add to the overall Palm Cove vibe - laid back 🤟 Very Highly recommended 👏👍😊

Great location, friendly staff and nice vibe. Has a pool table around the side and both inside and outside seating. Plenty of screens playing the footy and other sports. Food was pricey and would have expected a bigger portion. Well at least chips with calamari. But the crispy barramundi was delicious. A couple gluten free options but nothing life changing. Chips are not gluten free.
