I absolutely love eating here the food is well and truly above average.. From the steak to the chicken parma.. All ive eaten has been cooked and presented well.. Thank you ladies and gents for your great service and fantastic food.. Good job all!!!

Had a great experience at the bistro in Runaway Bay Tavern. The meals were outstanding fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Service was excellent, with Hannah providing friendly, attentive support and going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She really added to an already enjoyable visit. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Chicken snitzetel tasted like it was boiled then crumbed, has no taste other than boiled chicken yuck. I got a tocken slice of tomato (considering I paid $28 for a boiled crumbed bit of chicken and average chips you'd think I would have already paid for a decent side salad but no). Lettuce was bruised and old and horrid mostly inedible. We also got the pumpkin salad, the fact you buy a "salad' for $28 you would think they would ensure that the letuce is fresh and salad is fresher, not at this place it was again bruised and old inedible lettuce. We had to also listen to a painter waste 1 hr of his work day moving the cherry picker around after not even painting once. The experience was less than satisfactory, I would prefer to eat a plastic burger from Macdonalds than spend another minute eating the food at Runaway bay tavern.

Heard good things but was extremely disappointed in the food. 3 of 4 meals were barely touched. Upside. The atmosphere was ok. Nice music. Enjoyed the wings. Good dish to share with friends. Issues: The roast of the day was chicken. Chicken was so dry it was it was uneaten. Seemed like a cold chicken reheated. Chicken hamburger and chips - chips were good. Burger was poor. The patty is low quality. Uneaten Barramundi and veg - veg not cooked. Potatoes are uneatable, and they couldn't cut through them. Barra was fine. General comments - placed the order on the app. When wings came, we asked a question about it being the right sauce. We were told it was. It was obviously wrong. Took it back. The chef argued it was what we ordered. We asked to change it regardless. Upon returning to the table, we checked the app, and we had ordered the correct thing. Even if we hadn't, from a service perspective, it was no issue to change a little container with sauce in it. Why argue? There was one lady working the floor that had a clue. Well done to her. She was diligently cleaning, serving and checking outcomes. Highly likely, we won't return to this venue.

Hannah and Keta Are the best runaway bay tavern employees in the whole wide world. There’s no better place to come and have a beer and lose half your paycheck and then talk to these beautiful ladies afterwards. Come here for Delicious beer and plenty of pokies. Enough
