Absolutely brilliant food and a great service effort! My wife and I visited here after a large hike in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and were met with a bit of a pricey menu but the food was brilliant and was brought out after only about 15 minutes! An absolutely incredible turnaround for 2 main meals and an entree.

The main food was terrible. Kids meals were great. The staff was lovely and it has such a great atmosphere with awesome play equipment for the kids. Would be a nice venue for just some drinks but can’t recommend the food. I ordered pork belly and was served flavourless pork rashers. At $31 that’s pretty disappointing. Hubby’s meal was also average and so he got dessert but he was also unsatisfied with that, it was the special - churros. We were with a group of friends. Our friends who got the calamari were happy but those who got the parmis didn’t rate them.

The last time we dined at this establishment it was nice. Good atmosphere, good service and good meals. What’s happened to the Chancellor Tavern?? Last night we dined there again and what a disappointment. Half the dining room is a concrete floor. The service was absolutely downright terrible. The food? Don’t bother. Burnt fish, tasteless chicken parmys. The waiter practically dropped plates in front of everyone. We had to watch the staff eat their meals at the bar and having their own little party. Not professional at all. Please don’t bother. This establishment needs to improve to what it once was. It’s probably why there were so few diners at the restaurant.
