Whilst not a 5 star resort for us there was nothing more we could have wanted. The building is a bit old looking and the lifts look like they haven't had anything done to them in decades but the rooms are excellent. We stayed in a suite thanks to a free upgrade for booking direct and it had a king & a queen bed, small kitchen, dining table, lounge and a big balcony. There is a great pool and spa and the bar downstairs is excellent and sells great food with plenty of room to relax. We also received 2 free cocktails and had them at the rooftop bar. It's called a rooftop bar but it is only on level 1. Only 1 block from Cavill Ave so everything is so close. This was our second stay here and we will be back in future. I recommend becoming a member which is free and book direct as they give better prices and plenty of benefits.

I just wanted a comfortable place to have a drink and a cigar. This place has a stunning rooftop bar with a small smoking section (the bar is big, if you aren't a smoker there is a ton of space to not sit near the smokers). You can buy food, select from a wide variety of alcohol, and listen to the live DJ in a gorgeous rooftop setting.

My partner and I only stayed for one night and it wasn't as nice as we hoped it would be. Our room felt a bit dirty and rundown. I found a chewed off fingernail next to the bed. And the shower flooded the bathroom floor when in use, there was hair in the sink and just overall needed a better deep clean. We also decided to go to the rooftop bar to use our free drink vouchers. The service there was horrible. We waited in line and when we finally got to the front, both of the women serving, saw us and completely ignored us, and just served everyone else?? Not a nice experience, so we just ended up leaving. Also it's 25 dollars to park your car, which is whatever. But that is not mentioned when you book. Overall really overpriced for what you get.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel is older but has been renovated and is in a great location. Roof top bar had a good atmosphere and the cocktails were strong and tasty

If we were to enjoy our Wedding day one more time we would have no one else except Destiny and the team at the Island to support us, guide us, and help us have the BEST wedding ever. Words would not do justice for the effort, consideration, humility and experience that Destiny brings to the table. We had torrential rain the day before and the selected room was not appropriate. Destiny called proactively to guide us through our options with available function rooms. We moved to the Penthouse. The weather turned out perfect the next day which was a nice surprise. The room set up was perfect. Destiny co ordinated the team flawlessly to suit the change of rooms. Our guests spoke so highly of the venue, the service and the food, all 10/10. We chose the family style feast and it could not have been better. The hotel rooms were modern and comfortable. The Rooftop is also a great place to meet your guests after your wedding. The price may seem slightly higher than the market and in the end we appreciated paying more as we felt like everything truly was taken care of. Thank you to Destiny and everyone that made our wedding an unforgettable day.
