Had the best time at Retros the other night. Despite it being one of the more quiet nights in Surfers, Retros was pumping. The bartender Jess made our night with her bubbly and warm service. The music is like no other club, playing all of the throwback bangers that we all could dance and sing along to. Definitely the go to for a night out.

Went to retros on the 12th atmosphere was awful, it was very hot, and there was “smoke” effect all in the club which made it very hard to see and made it feel humid in there. The bathrooms were disgusting, blood on the toilet papers on the rolls, toilets blocked, and just did not make you feel comfortable. Not good. Music wasn’t the best either, played some good songs but not many. Drinks were SO overpriced god. But hey free entry all night so

We get it it's a night club and they have all the right to close when they want but please, as a mature adults, have the courtesy to tell ppl that you are closing down for a night coz it's not busy. Instead of just shutting down the music (just say it's our last song for the night). We were in the middle of a dance and the DJ ended the song, we hadn't finished our drinks yet either and we were quickly finishing them but also confused what was happening. On top of that the security at the door says "finally you guys are leaving!! Like it's our fault!! It made us so embarrassed that we had to leave the review. But yeah, we still had fun as the music was good, it just would have been nice to be given a heads up as we would have cooperated.

Absolutely love this club. Katie is an absolute gem! She always helps everyone out. She is a little rockstar, making sure my friends are well looked after. We will definitely be coming back because of her!!
