Was here for breakfast on a weekend. Great atmosphere and within a few minutes walk from hotel. Not too crowded so can enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Have kids breakfast with just the right portion.

Cute location across the ocean and great food. I particularly liked the red fruit smoothie and the avocado toast! Pro-tips: 1) No-one comes to the table to serve you. You either order at the table or from the counter. 2) You can order from the table (on your phone) BEFORE 11AM. 3) If you show up AT/AFTER 11AM, you have to order from the counter. There will be a 20 min delay as the staff transitions from morning to afternoon menu...

Amazing food options for vegetarians. came here for ambience, stayed here for the food. The loaded sweet potato fries, risotto and garlic bread were heavenly.

So good food and drinks! Simple but yummy. It’s my first time in Surfers and I’m so glad I found this place! My visit was around 3 pm so was loads of free seats, but can imagine it’s busier during peak lunch and dinner time. You order through a QR-code, so not much to say about the service, but the food got out quickly:) I had the mussels in white wine sauce, sweet potato chips and a “Cool runnings” cocktail to drink, strongly recommend all of it!! Food was quite affordable, not super cheap but definitely worth it.

The Sandbar on Surfers is one of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to. The manager Connor was so helpful as well as the English barman who was cracking jokes behind the bar. The food was too die for, even better than Melbourne which I found strange. But I sent my compliments to the chef 👨🍳 I was that impressed. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice too, because it's across the road from the beach ⛱️. I would recommend anyone who is on holiday up in the Gold Coast to eat at this restaurant 🙂
