My wife and I decided to come to his hotel on a Saturday night on the Easter weekend. We walked in with an appointment and sat on a table of two at the window. I ordered the chicken. Palmer my wife had battered fish and chips. I asked for a salad with no onion and my chicken schnitzel was absolutely fantastic. It was a full 300 g fillet. It was juicy and tasty. The chips were crispy and generous serve. So was a salad. My wife’s beer battered fish and chips was also excellent . I must compliment chef Stephen who I introduced myself to. We did not have a very long wait as the restaurant was not that busy but I must say that the quality of the food served to us tonight was excellent and I’ve been to many pubs and restaurants in Australia and write pubs Palma as one of the best. Thank you to the team at the Cavill hotel.

The food was amazing. I didn't click much pictures but the menu was great and the price was very reasonable for the portion we received. The atmosphere was so lovely. Slow music and the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. The bathroom was really clean!! And smelled really nice (great mirror for taking pics). There are stuff like pool and the bar available as well. Overall a great restaurant and we also didn't make any reservation so that was a plus!!

always go there for lunch special with colleague as close to workplace... was good, parmi is good size and taste is ok, but others are not...recently becomes very salty for meals. ordered a lunch special pasta around $17, the portion is a female palm size, no joke, a male can finish it within 3 bites...when check with staff if it is way to small, she was confident "oh, that is our lunch special size". Also, do not waste moeny to try lasagna

What a disappointment this place has turned into from Melbas. The restaurant is always empty, the menu is basic pub grub at best. The only thing keeping this place going is their gaming lounge, one of the most rigged and underpaying machines on the gold coast. If you want have a drink and play some machines DO NOT enter this place, go somewhere else. Support the local surf club instead or try your luck at the casino. This place will strip you if your not careful.

We’ve visited The Cavill Hotel last night, and was thoroughly impressed. The highlight of the night was definitely the Tuesday night special: Wagyu steak! It was cooked to perfection and bursted with flavour and tenderness. We had an amazing experience at The Cavill Hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.
