Great Irish style pub. Staff very polite & friendly. Food great.

I come to this bar regularly. They have concert several time by week and matches. It is friendly and the Irish and Rock atmosphere is well respected. However, I would like to point out that I am outraged by the attitude around the pool table. A group of regular players allow themselves to claim the pool table as their own. They force you to pay to challenge them. And the security that fully supports their behavior. Although they are drunk and staggering, they have a very good level and kill you in less than 5 minutes. This makes the game very frustrating and absolutely not user-friendly. It's impossible to get the table back to play with friends. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. At more than $4 a game I find it outrageous.

Great atmosphere. The food was very good. Staff were very friendly especially the lad from Galway ~ very chatty, laughing and joking with customers. Went on a Saturday night, band were great. Dance floor was packed.

Great new Irish bar in town. The place has had a whole revamp, and looks very smart and functional. They have great staff, and serve food. There's a great deal on Sundays when they serve a roast for 12 dollar's, plus a pint of Guinness for 6. Happy hour Monday to Fridays 16:30 to 18:30, some beers down to 7 dollars, spirits only 6. Great pub for all your sports, and also live music.

We went there on Saturday. Ordered an orange juice and received a phone call which lasted 15 mins. When my wife tried to drink it was fermented and had a disgusting taste. 3 people tasted it and agreed it was off. When I returned the drink and made them aware of the issue I was told it had gone off because it sat for 15 mins on the counter. I tried to explain nothing goes off in 15 mins especially with ice in it. I tried to explain this and asked if she understood food service requirements, she continued to argue and insist it was because it sat on the counter. A second male bartender tied to get involved and agreed with the first one, just shows how inept, unprofessional and untrained they are. Two ex publicans were in our party and stated it is because the lines haven’t been cleaned. But when this happens in a post mix line you should listen and for the couple of cents it costs for the cordial mix replace the drink, that’s just smart business. I would urge the council the check heath status and management to ensure staff are fully trained and compliant in health standards.
