We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel in Townsville. The location was excellent—close to the waterfront, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Awesome pool. Secure parking as well as gated. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with any questions, making us feel at home from check-in to check-out. We also appreciated how quiet the hotel was, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. Overall, the Grand Hotel offered excellent value for money, and we'd happily stay here again on our next visit to Townsville. Highly recommended! And they took the time to make my friend feel very special, as it was her birthday weekend!

We had a lovely over-night stay on Saturday the 31st January, staff were extremely helpful, we checked in at 11.00 am and our room was ready. Fridge was ultra small, no freezer, but it was no problem to ask for ice and it was delivered to our room. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and I used my welcome drink on a barista cappuccino.

This exceeded my expectations of price and quality! Stayed on 19th floor in an apartment. Was super spacious. Great bathroom and bed. Big lounge room. Had a great night there and surrounded by everything!

Our family of four - including two very hard to please teenagers- loved our overnight stay at the GCT!! The staff are absolutely amazing going out of their way wherever they could to ensure we had the best hotel experience ever in Townsville!! I also recommend the breakfast as it was delicious!!!
