A Lovely historical theatre. Terrific venue to watch a show or concert. Parking nearby at Princess Parking was $5 on our Saturday night. One of the highlights is the bar 'Fables' attached to the theatre. The staff there are caring and professional .. they know their stuff!! Great cocktails and seating inside and out. A great stop off before the event. Being an old theatre of course there is the usual long lineup for the toilets as there are not enough cubicles especially for the ladies. A few eateries nearby but mainly takeaway. There is also a bar in the downstairs area of theatre for drinks during concerts. A balcony outside upstairs is lovely for interval with some seating and stools provided. The night we attended there was only standing tickets areas down stairs. The seating upstairs, which was very limited, was for those, like us, who had bought tickets for this area. (I'm not sure if they ever have downstairs seating).

First time here, and it was pretty nice! I saw the punk band Lagwagon here. Intimate venue with nice sound. A large toilet block stayed pretty clean and stocked with paper towels and soap throughout the night. Bar was okay. The majority was craft beer. Not my taste, so went with a Great Northern. Overall not a bad place. 🙂

Great venue for concert on Saturday, outdoor courtyard bar area was nice, the toilets were clean all night and sound system was perfect. It's shame it was all seated though as it took away from the atmosphere a bit with a band that you really wanted to get up and dance along too (I guess that was down to the promoter). Previous complaints about seats being too close also haven't been acted on either. I had had to turn uncomfortably sideways for most of the night so the person next to me could overspill into half of my seat. They had a thoroughly good night, me not quite so much!

I have been to several concerts at The Princess now. Lovely ambience, and staff always friendly. Handy bars inside the venue. Sound quality has always been top notch. Large enough to feel the vibe of a crowd, yet small enough to remain an intimate gig even when full. Easy to get to via public transport. Plenty of drink and food options nearby.

Great venue. Arrive early for drinks at Fables out the front. Easy to park at Princess Parking just before the theatre. Busby Marou were outstanding ... as always! Excellent band with them this time and Jem Cassar- Daley was great too.
