I enjoyed a relaxing time over a drink and a meal in the attractive, dog-friendly beer garden. I chose the chicken schnitzel from the seniors menu, which was served hot with chips, salad and some mushroom sauce. Food and bar staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. The clearly advertised seniors menu is a tasty and cheap option for those of a certain age. Well done for this initiative. I’ll happily return to the Blue Pacific Hotel during further visits to Bribie Island.

We went for lunch there today and the service at the bistro was horrible,the food waited nearly 50 minutes for and it was not busy at all,the barramundi still had scales on it and my steak was more like the size of a rissole.The young lady behind the bar was the best thing in there.would not be going back there again that’s for sure

Went to the Christmas Day Lunch Senior meal x 2 and drink packages x2 = $320 total Seafood was delicious but not enough tongs and supervision required to stop the bad behaviour of some clientele Turkey, Ham , potatoes etc and gravy cold Lamb under cooked and bleeding out Desserts were ok but no ability to pick up slices. We reported the hot food was cold with no response. Drink package not revealed until the day so minimal value Very disappointed and won’t be repeated

Very disappointed at meal on Saturday, ordered Seniors Lambs Fry, came in a dish that had a hairline crack in it. Tasted ok, but could have been presented in a better manner. We have been patrons of AHL hotels for many years and this I’m afraid was not up to scratch.

This pub is the best on the island and honestly it's because of Solja. He is honestly the best manager we have ever met at a pub! He is so friendly, he is amazing with our kids. This pub would be lost without him. He makes the place 10x better and I definitely recommend this pub. The food is great, the staff are friendly and it's a weekly reoccurrence for us!
