Lovely museum, great collection of taxidemi of mammals of the world, as well as australian birds and iconic animals. I have to say that the aboriginal section of the museum is absolutely amazing, very complete display of the knowledge of the aboriginal communities and their artifacts. Also, there is a giant squid that you can see a part of in each level. I think it is safe to vring children as well and the tickets are free, so it is a must for your visit to Adelaide!

This museum is a must-visit with kids, offering both a fun and educational experience. There are fascinating fossils and rock layers from the Ediacaran period, an impressive Mineral, Gemstone, and Meteorite Collection, and even a 5-ton meteorite on display. You’ll also find artifacts from Ancient Egypt, including pieces related to the pyramids. It’s a great place for kids to explore, learn, and have an unforgettable time.

Amazing amazing amazing. They offer free entry and range of things to see and learn. Very well maintained and professional. Can you believe the animals are real?? They definitely have authories to collect the body tissues but I was so impressed by the works. Highly recommend. This is a must visit in Adelaide.

Great museum to visit in Adelaide. It has a huge collection of dinosaur skeleton, stuffed life-size replica of native animals from all continents, Australian gemstone & minerals, aboriginal artifacts and from pacific nations. Easily accessible by public transport and no entry fees.
