Reviews for South Australian Museum

The South Australian Museum is an incredible place with a rich collection of exhibits that showcase history, culture, and nature. It’s a fantastic destination for families, as children can enjoy a variety of interactive and engaging experiences. My kids had so much fun exploring and learning at the same time! Highly recommend visiting this museum for a fun and educational outing.

Great museum to visit in Adelaide. It has a huge collection of dinosaur skeleton, stuffed life-size replica of native animals from all continents, Australian gemstone & minerals, aboriginal artifacts and from pacific nations. Easily accessible by public transport and no entry fees.

Nice and free museum to check out while in Adelaide. Don’t compare to larger cities but it’s still a great place to come and explore. Easy to get to and quiet to wander around.

An incredible place to go. It has fantastic stones, fossils, animals and indigenous artefacts, but it’s free! I’ve learned a lot about the Australia history, nature science, ocean, etc. It’s suitable for both adults and children - they won’t feel boring as the display is attractive. It took me more than two hours to check all areas. Actually, it was a bit rush, so I recommend to plan half day.

Wow! We visited the National Geographic Photography Awards and then went on to enjoy the museum. What a brilliant treat as visitors to SA and Adelaide. Great for all ages.
