Reviews for Adelaide Town Hall

Grand old 1866 Town Hall with a 600 seat auditorium or ball room built of local stone visible on exterior but rather boring inside. Impressive pipe organ.

Absolutely amazing experience. You could see that each member of the orchestra loved what they were doing, this came through so clearly in the passion they put in to their performance. The atmosphere was beautiful and transformative, with the flickering lighting and the fabulous sound coming from the stage. I highly recommend anyone to attend one of these performances, this one was awe inspiring.

Tonight was a Musica Viva Concert - Hollywood Songbook. I love movie music, but this was nothing like it. It was so much better. It was music from people who left Europe/Germany in the 30's and 40's and continued to compose brilliant music. An incredible evening.

These candlelight performances are great. The strings were excellent. And the percussionist too. An hour is perfect. The fever app makes it easy to book and manage. I like trouble free ticketing. We had a good view despite no specific reserved seating and a full-house. The info says to arrive 30 minutes before kickoff. We did. There was already a queue. It moved quickly and it only took about 10 minutes to get in and sit down. It was similar last time too. The journey's smooth if you follow their advice. It sounds and looks good in the Town Hall. Coldplay lol. Great performance with nice ambience because of musicians and venue. We went to the 6:00 pm performance. A most excellent beginning to the evening. This was my second time. Last time it was the Beatles. We enjoyed that too. I'll no doubt go to more.

Came to an Adelaide festival event. A string quartet who were very good. Seats were comfortable but limited space between your knees and the chair in front of you. The male toilet was ????? The hot air to blow your wet hands after washing is between the urinal and a sit down toilet. Very bizarre. So you are standing behind one person whilst blocking the male coming out of their cubicle.
