Reviews for Quest King William South

Our stay at Quest King William South turned out to be a disappointing experience. We understand that a bond is a standard practice for hotel stays, the $250 amount felt excessive. We were told when we checked out it would be released after housekeeping inspected the apartment, which we left in tidy condition. We expected this process to take the usual 24 to 48 hours, but patiently waited over a week without any updates. When I called to follow up, a staff member named Nick answered, I explained our situation and he placed me on hold for 20 minutes. After growing impatient, I hung up and called back, he immediately picked up and says that he remembers our conversation. He stated that the hold was being released as we spoke. It leaves me wondering if we would have ever seen it back had we not followed up. This experience has been frustrating and reflects poorly on the hotel’s management. The responsibility for following up fell entirely on us, and it was handled with little care by the hotel staff. I want to caution others considering a stay at this hotel to be wary of the bond process, as it has been more cumbersome than expected.

The Quest King William South offers a pleasant stay in well-appointed serviced apartments. While my room was slightly smaller than expected, larger options are available. However, what truly sets this property apart is the exceptional level of service. Nik, at reception, exemplified everything one could hope for in a customer service professional. The check-in process was seamless, and his extensive knowledge of the local area was invaluable. As a first-time visitor to Adelaide, I greatly appreciated his thoughtful recommendations, which ensured I made the most of my time here. It’s rare to encounter such outstanding service in any industry. Nik is truly a gem and an asset to Quest.

It was fine. The staff were fantastic though and very accommodating. Sadly there was a smell coming through the drain in my bathroom. Off putting. I did like the location. It’s 3 tram stops away from the busy center, and it’s nice to stay just outside the chaos

Great value for money accomodation. We booked a standard room and was given a larger room (one designed for a wheelchair) and were happy with practically everything in the room including: - a TV with FoxTel - a kitchen all the required amenities to cook - bathroom amenities - blankets for comfort - large space to store suitcases, clothes etc - an outdoor balcony Also, you can wash & dry your clothes for free. There’s a decent sized gym too! Don’t forget to refill your water bottle at the drink fountain at the gym or reception. Thanks Quest for having us!

Stayed at the Quest for two nights for work. I found the staff to be great, the location was good for me & the room had a great view of Adelaide towards the CBD (level 12). The room was clean with two hotplates & a microwave. The kitchen had all the items needed to cook & eat with.
