3 nights here and a mixed experience. I like the rooms and building very much. And great location. But the staff were very self focused and not service oriented. When my key failed it was explained to me that I must have locked the door - I hadn't. When there was no menu on the QR code for room service it was first assumed I didn't understand the QR code system - I did. An out of date menu was then delivered. When I pointed out it was out of date after talking to the kitchen, the response was that it had changed the week before???? And on the final morning housekeeping let themselves in without knocking or announcement then stood in my room at 8.50 am insisting that I was gone already. Not sure I will book again.

Adina Hotel in the heart of Adelaide's Central Business District. Let's break it down, shall we? A perfectly respectable establishment that could easily pass for a scientific marvel in terms of its location, service, and convenience. I approached this place with the enthusiasm of someone entering an intriguing yet ultimately predictable experiment. And, my friends, I was not disappointed. First and foremost, the location. You see, it is not just any location; it is a prime location, strategically situated within walking distance of numerous attractions. For someone like me, who appreciates both efficiency and proximity (two concepts that work hand in hand, much like Newton’s Third Law and the laws of motion), this was nothing short of ideal. Attractions, eateries, cultural landmarks—all within a mere stroll! Do you have any idea how rare such convenience is? I would describe it as the Platonic ideal of vacation locations, executed with precision and foresight. Now, let’s discuss the logistical prowess of this hotel. Tour operators, keen to adhere to the same principles of convenience that this hotel embodies, were able to pick me up directly from the hotel for my excursions. Truly, there is a grace to such coordination, almost like watching an orchestra play in perfect harmony , everything in its rightful place, nothing out of tune. However, and this is where things get slightly… unremarkable, we have the dining experience. The Treasury Restaurant, while far from being classified as an unmitigated disaster, left something to be desired. The variety of food options was, at best, limited. You may be wondering: "But Ramanan, how bad could it be?" Well, I’d liken it to a “single-variable equation”—adequate, but lacking the complexity and intrigue of a multivariable system. The food was fine, but for someone who has tasted the complexity of true culinary creation (and I do consider myself an expert in the art of dining), it was not an experience that ignited my neurons in the way I had hoped. But, let’s not dwell too much on the trivialities. We all know that even in a highly controlled experiment, there is room for error. And this, my dear reader, is a minor oversight in an otherwise perfectly calculated environment. Now, let’s move on to the staff. Oh, the staff! If I were to map out a perfect ratio of helpfulness to professionalism, it would result in an exceedingly high coefficient at Adina Hotel. They were there, always attentive, always ready with assistance, and always willing to go above and beyond. One might say they were not merely following a job description but rather executing a meticulously crafted mission to ensure my stay was as pleasant as humanly possible. I daresay, I felt as though I were in the company of individuals who truly understood the importance of customer service—not just in theory, but in practice. So, would I return to the Adina Hotel in Adelaide? In a heartbeat. It’s a near-perfect establishment for anyone seeking a quality stay at a reasonable price. And let’s be honest, when a hotel ticks off nearly all of your expectations—location, service, convenience—one can only forgive a slight deficiency in the dining department. To conclude, the Adina Hotel is truly a beacon of excellence in the Adelaide CBD, and if I were ever to find myself in Adelaide again (which, given the hotel's compelling attributes, is statistically probable), I would consider myself fortunate to stay here once more. A minor hiccup in the culinary offerings aside, it is a gem worth discovering. 4 stars.

Lovely apartment rooms, very spacious and clean accommodation. Unfortunately room 18 is located onto the courtyard adjacent to the bar resturant which is loud until 10 pm. Facilities are excellent, nice pool and gym.

Nice spot for drinks if you're in town. Often have happy hour period with decent selection and discount, and the inside and outside are nice to sit in and chat.

Rooms are nice and large, and the kitchen has the majority of what one would need to cook. The bed was okay, but a bit soft for my liking. The largest issue is that the room is next to an alley where restaurants dump their rubbish. Sadly, you can hear this all night, followed by garbage trucks starting at 5 AM. You might not experience this depending on the location of your room.
