The South Australian Museum was a fantastic experience. I definitely recommend visiting if you're in Adelaide. The museum is located in the city center and offers free entry (with some additional charges for certain exhibitions). It's a great place to learn about Aboriginal culture, as well as the geological history of Australia and its flora and fauna. The museum is beautifully curated and incredibly informative and engaging.

Brilliant. It was 40° outside and I was melting. Popped into the museum for a spot of culture and some air conditioning. Really good, so glad we went it. There was a display in the foyer and I got to see a Frogmouth Owl. 😁 Lots of information about the Aboriginal people, which was incredibly interesting. You need to allow quite a bit of time to see it all. Definitely visiting again when I'm back in Adelaide.

It’s a good place to spend time with your family and friends. It had free access and paid access areas. We visited both. It’s vast and make sure you have plenty of time. We also tried a treasure hunt game on I pad. It was quite difficult, may be good for big team (4members). You will learn so much about animals, past, space and stones. ❤️❤️❤️

I recently visited a museum in Adelaide, and it was an amazing experience! The museum has four levels of fascinating exhibits, which made the exploration and discovery process very exciting. The best part is that it's completely free for everyone! The exhibits range from ancient Egyptian artifacts to beautiful natural displays and ancient civilization exhibits, making the experience both educational and entertaining. If you're in town, I highly recommend checking it out.

A great place to check out if you're from SA, or if you have a friend from out of town visiting! Free entry, and can spend as much time as you want or pop in and out of the areas you're most interested in quite quickly. The stairwell with the giant squid needs some TLC/updating, but overall a great free activity in Adelaide and a decent size given we're a smaller main city.
