Rating the bar, not the hotel. Good staff, reasonable prices, limited wine options, but suits the clientele. Quite a loud venue, with stark flooring etc.

$26.50 for one hot beer and a vodka and post mix …. You know what I’ll never spend another dollar in your venue we eat down at Glenelg regularly… no wonder it went broke with the last owners.

Booked a table with them for a family, with a baby, because it was going to be busy due to the event. Only to be told, 15min before the time I booked the table for, that it was not going to be available because they were not supposed to take bookings and someone made a mistake. Family couldn’t come with the baby, when we were already on the way.

Food was good, location beautiful after completing City to Bay. But $68 for 2 jugs of super dry? Thought a jug was meant to be a cheaper option? But $11.33 per beer is absolutely ridiculous! How much is it to buy a beer on its own?!?

Disappointed with our experience here. Tried something new on the menu 'Feed Me' $65 pp. Chefs choice, 4 courses. Excited for the experience. Understanding it was to be the unknown. Portions were small for a man and a woman as some were on a shared plate. It was more of a tasting rather than a meal. Octopus 2 bite size each, 3 meatballs for 2, and a serving of thickly sliced bread with gnocchi The main was also fish, we were not asked if we had a dislike or alergy to seafood. Disappointed that it was french fries and not cut chips. The food was fresh and tasted nice. Walking back to our accommodation and checking out the menus as we past by, there were better 'Feed Me' offer's for less cost with more information of what you receive. As mentioned above, it was to be an experience of the unknown. We did feel it over priced for what we received. The restaurant was clean and plenty of staff even though it was a quiet night. I would try another meal here. The table across from us had ordered individual meals and the plate looked full.
