Chicken schnitzels were horrible. Luckily I won them in a competition as I would never pay the price for them. Gravy was so small and tasteless, crumb was falling off the schnitzels and tasted rubbery, couldn’t find anyone to complain. Bar staff were rude and my husband paid $15 for a cider!! Will definitely not be back.

Always wanted to visit. Was NOT disappointed! It was said the staff knew I was living an item on my bucket list. Alcohol was a bit exxy but that’s on the government. Rooms well appointed and meals were on point. Have to say our chips and gravy were NOT cold! The pier itself is surreal! We’ll be back, sooner rather than later!

The most unhelpful restaurant / pub I have ever experienced - tried to book - team member says fine and takes booking for 20! Ring back to confirm - no we don’t take bookings - come if you want! Complete lack of customer care and attention! Don’t bother!

Clean and spacious areas. Ordered bar meals, unfortunately, our chips and gravy were cold. Chef soon rectified the situation. Squid was nice, chicken schnitzel was nice, fresh salad. Quite, I didn't need to book.

We had the misfortune to mistakenly make a booking at your, er, establishment. We were flying from Sydney for a visit to my hometown, Adelaide. We thought it'd be nice to spend a night at fondly remembered Glenelg. When we arrived to make good on my husband's booking, the woman at the front desk refused to process our payment because our credit cards were on our phones!!! Really?? In this day and age? You expect us to travel with a pocketful of plastic? Shame on you!! We went back to where we’d stayed before, the HILTON ADELAIDE, and not only secured a superior suite to what we’d booked with you, but also $50 cheaper than your rate, and, most importantly, they were quite happy to let us pay via the credit cards ON OUR PHONE!! See? It’s actually not that hard, you know? Of course, you do have to be prepared to be living in 2025. Your policy is outrageous, disgusting, rude, and antiquated. Get with the times, or close your doors for good. Not that you’ll ever find us, or our family, or friends, ever darkening your doorways again. LOL. You may care to comment. Or not. You may even care to update your Olde World policies. Or not. (Very) Sincerely, IAN HORNER and DANE CHAD, Sydney NB: No response after nearly a week.
