If I’m full and enjoying the meal but there’s plenty left to eat I’ll be satisfied and not scoff the rest on the plate. Great meal. Not on this occasion !! Absolutely magnificent Too bloody good to leave any !! Chicken Mignon was devoured and the broccoli tops were amazing. You must experience.

Great place for gaming, although in the quiet periods, it's hard to get served as there is only one staff member to do many things. They do try their best, it's a bit unfair if you ask me.. I would like to thank MICHELLE in particular for her amazing chai lattes and her fantastic service, although all the staff are lovely and helpful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had dinner in the restaurant. It was a busy night so service was OK but somewhat minimal as its expected that you order via an app. We were OK with this, but it may frustrate others. One of our drinks was forgotten at first so had to go to the bar to rectify it. Luckily the bar staff were happy to fix the issue. Meals took slightly longer to arrive than expected but as the night was busy it is understandable. The food itself was better than other pub food I've had, the chicken Mignon and lamb shoulder were both delicious and was refreshing that there were plenty of mains that offered veg rather than the standard salad and chips. The pricing was reasonable for the meals and they were good size portions. Kids menu had the usual options but my kid gave the nuggets a big thumbs up so in terms of food it's kid friendly. No activities for kids supplied or come with meal so be prepared to bring something to occupy kids if necessary. Overall was happy with the experience and would recommend as a good medium-priced option.

Stayed here several days mid week, rooms were delightfully clean and comfortable. Meals were substantial, fresh, hot and delicious, served in good time, with a smile, and good value. Staff were great... Accommodation wise .... management was terrific, handling an unforeseen problem at check in with grace and generosity. I love the atmosphere and ambience of the bar and restaurant , staff are cheerful and welcoming. Auxiliary staff are friendly and efficient. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the downstairs rooms are of a high standard, but the wonderful 'feel' of the place is down to the people / staff. Who to the individual and collectively were wonderfully friendly and capable. Definitely look forward to staying here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bar and meals were excellent. The staff went out of their way to resolve a technical issue with our room and were completely understanding of our situation with our 3 young kids.
