Really comfortable stay and good value. Sizable well equipped rooms, very comfy bed and lovely spa bath. Complimentary drink was a nice touch. Staff were really helpful. Located conveniently for food options.

This is a fabulous looking venue with a great reputation in the area. Unfortunately, if my recent experience is anything to go by, standards have declined of late. We held my daughter's 21st Birthday celebration at Sfera's on 2/11/24. This was a small function of 38 people that should have been straightforward. We paid $55 PH for their 'High Tea' package. This price, detailed in their marketing brochure, was to include tea and coffee, soft drinks and a selection of sweet and savory pastries across 2.5 hours. It was a seated affair. Photographs in the paperwork relating to this package suggested that food would be served on tiered stands and coffee and tea in porcelain cups and saucers (as you would expect with a High Tea). Rather than add on the champagne package we created a selection of drinks (beer/wine/G&T) and had a bar tab. On the day of the function the table settings were created as requested (with pink napkins and white table cloths). However, some plates on each table were visibly chipped. Not a good look. I noted that no cups and saucers were provided (I assumed these would be brought out later). When my guests arrived, alcoholic beverages were served on consumption according to the list of selections taped on the bar. A couple of jugs of water were placed on the table (that were never refilled). No soft drink in jugs was provided. The General manager later explained that there was a concern the drink would go flat. It was quite a hot day and I am fairly certain any drinks provided would have been drunk. When the food arrived it was plentiful, but low quality food. It was presented without any attempt at flair on white platters (not the tiered stands as suggested in the brochure) and without garnish. No coffee or tea was offered. It was not provided on the list at the bar so no one thought to ask. When I asked where the tea and coffee was, I was told that it was available from the bar at request. I'm not sure how my guests were supposed to know this. Eventually it was agreed to bring the coffee cart in so guests could help themselves. It took them a good 20 minutes to arrange this. Only paper cups were provided (not suitable for a High Tea) and the 6 cups and saucers they eventually gave us were replaced by mugs (also not for High Tea)......it then occurred to me that they had no intention of serving coffee or tea at what is effectively a coffee and tea function (it is even in the title of the package). We had coffee and tea for about 1 hour.....and for much of that time the machine churned out lukewarm coffee. Tea bags.....there were about 12 in total and no milk. I was not spoken to by management at the conclusion of the function. This would have been appropriate. I emailed the function coordinator, Matilda, the next day and she ignored my email. I then emailed the General Manager, Michael Sfera and he ignored me. When I called him, his PA told me that he was 'too busy to talk' and would 'contact me the next day'. He eventually emailed me on a Friday at 4:30pm. His response was rude, dismissive and without a hint of compassion. He accepted no responsibility for the fact that I did not receive the package I had paid for. His reasons for the absence of tea and coffee and tiered stands..."We don't do it like that anymore.' Consumers beware....in my opinion since Sfera's can't manage a small tea and coffee function, I would hardly let them anywhere near a wedding. My advice is that you skip this venue and go somewhere that actually has an understanding what hospitality is. This is clearly a management issue.

We've run a few night time events at Sfera's and loved it. Friendly staff, easy to work with, clear communications, good facilities, a beautiful view out over Civic Park and different room sizes/layouts to suit different types of events. Callie has always looked after us really well on the night with each of the events we've run (with food, drinks, tech set-up and everything else we've needed!).

Terrible! You can't control the heating or cooling in the rooms, the hotel is set at one temperature at all times. We felt the room was hot so asked the reception to change to cool instead of heat and were told to turn off the air system and open a door! We had to sleep (try to sleep) with the door open all night to stay cool, l with the outside traffic it was a terrible night. While this was the worse part of the stay, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. No service after 5pm, the pillows are flat and the bathrooms have a public bathroom style paper holder with the cheapest sand paper to use. I have stayed twice for friends events but I will never stay again, I would rather pay a $100 uber home
