If you catch the Sky Bus from the Airport it is quite easy to walk from the first stop point. There is only a small incline but I managed to carry a backpack and a day pack with no issues. Friendly welcome and easy check in. Room was just what I needed after a few hours of travelling. Bed was a delight and found the perfect pillow for a great night sleep. Room temp was perfect. Bathroom modern with everything you need. Just wait a bit for the water to heat up before changing it as it took its time though. Great stay and hope I can return for a longer stay

I stayed at The Vibe hotel this week. It is well located- short walks to Salamanca Place, the waterfront and city shopping. The reception staff are excellent- responsive, helpful and kind. The harbour view room was fantastic. Great sun rises and sunsets. Relaxing and beautiful views. The room was spacious, bright, well appointed and contained a really comfortable bed. Great bathroom with a non slip floor. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next Hobart stay. Helen

The Vibe Hotel Hobart was not a vibe! *NO ONSITE PARKING *Rooms are really small *The view isn't great * The bathroom was clean, and so was the room *The location isn't great compared to other hotels in Hobart. Our experience below: I emailed the Vibe hotel about our upcoming stay on quite a few occasions. About parking, an early check-in and wanting a low floor (as I hate heights), the staff replied promptly. We checked in, and the room was small but clean. My husband has tinnitus. The room we were in amplified his tinnitus. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never had this issue. It was really distressing for him. So I had to book another hotel. We left the hotel as my husband was in a panic. I emailed the hotel straight away, and on the same email, they used to contact me to let them know the situation. Conveniently, they didn't pick up my email till 2 days later. Apparently, I had emailed the "wrong" email address. How does that work when your staff contacted me on that email?! Talk about insulting ones intelligence. I asked for a refund as we didn't use the room. It was a 2 night stay. They refused. The assistant manager was condescending and couldn't care less about our situation. His solution was that he would have moved us to another room/apartment that was on a higher floor. Ummmm, did you not look at your notes. I don't like heights.Thats not a suitable solution! A $50 refund was offered. Then, it moved up to the general manager, who was also not sympathetic to our situation. He offered a $100 refund even though the room charges for the 2 nights were around $600. I declined because I wanted to warn other travellers and write a review. We felt like we were just being palmed off, and the lack of understanding was astounding! Disgraceful customer service for someone suffering a medical episode! If you suffer from tinnitus, anxiety, claustrophobia, can't walk a long distance. I do not recommend the Vibe Hotel! You have to walk 2 blocks to park your car in a public parking lot, and it's not secure! Then back and forth every time you want to go out. The rooms are tiny, and there are no nice restaurants close by. Our experience was definitely not a vibe, and I would never stay here. Highly recommend staying at Maq1 like we ended up doing. The staff and service at Maq1 were 5 stars!

Friendly staff at both reception and restaurant, helped to fix the drainage problem in the bathroom after the first night, so that we can stay comfortably. Breakfast is a la carte, so tasty and I chose different food daily. House keeping needs to be improved, forgot to refill tissue box & the bottle of hand soap was broken but not replace. Those are just minor.

Such a warm & welcoming reception area that’s cozy & warm, staff were extremely helpful, room was fresh, clean & modern, the pool was amazing & warm, located was great, close to all restaurants & a small stroll to the pier. Tried to stay here again after a small trip to cradle mountain but they were fully Booked out which is expected given how nice this place is to stay. Oyster hour is definitely a must attend event at this venue Fresh oysters 🦪
