This Easter Long Weekend 2025 we stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days. Our room was on level 10 and it was big like a studio , being very spacious and clean. We could have fitted 2 extra people easy. There was complimentary cold / hot drinks and a variety of canapés every night from 5-7. My daughter always had a hot chocolate and brownie. The staff here were friendly and helpful. This hotel is in the middle of the city which we loved. We walked to the Salamanca Markets ,the Asian night market, the farmers markert and ect. Downstairs had the mall and all the restaurants so we explored that. The harbour was close too which was filled with boats / yachts and fish and chips and ice cream stores so it was a nice family time too. This hotel is also close to airport maybe 20min drive and the view on all our drives was peaceful and stunning. We would definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Hobart. There have been several issues with the booking and stay at the Crowne Hobart which has resulted in this low rating. 1.The room had a broken curtain/blind which meant it would not close all the way allowing a significant amount of light into the room. Maintenance were called and were unable to fix it. 2.The bathroom was dirty, and particularly the bath. After contacting reception they sent house keeping up to clean the bath. 3. I booked this as “Night on my own” rate for my wife which was to include breakfast in bed, bubbles, a face mask treatment and a late checkout of 4pm. None of these extras were included, despite paying extra. 4. The follow up to these issues was (and continues to be) less than satisfactory. I emailed the hotel with these concerns asking to speak to someone, however I did not receive a reply. I called the hotel branch number and was able to raise a complaint and was provided with a case number and was told I would be called by a General Manager, however it has now been 5 days without anything further. This has all compounded causing a particularly poor experience over all.

Room is big and spacious but don't like the bathroom design. Shower and bathroom is separate but no door for privacy. Pillows are hard and the blinds won't closed and the lights can get through which is annoying. Location is very central but hard to figure out where to pull over on your arrival if you have car. Service at the concierge when we arrived at night is terrible. The concierge is very useless. The concierge lady at night don't bother to offer to take our trolley full of bags to the room but the concierge service in the morning when we checked out is great.

Absolutely amazing hotel, I felt like I was coming home, part of the family. Very accommodating and welcoming. Everyone I spoke to was friendly, polite and very professional. I would 100 percent recommend you stay here!

I’m torn on this review as this is a lovely hotel, however it sits right above a night club that blasts EDM music from 9pm-4am. Unfortunately this is not my first stay, and it doesn’t seem to matter what floor or even side of the hotel you are on. If you are there on a weekend, be prepared to be kept awake by a loud thumping bass from the night club located right next door to the hotel. Would highly recommend booking elsewhere if you are a light sleeper or kept up easily.
