Super friendly staff. Excellent location to everything, walking distance to all restaurants, coffee shop across the road and the waterfront is a 10 min walk. Room was absolutely beautiful and super clean. Easy access to park your car at the hotel. Would definitely recommend the buffet breakfast and dinner menu.

The top floor, called Aura, was once opened to the public. They then closed it and made it a guest lounge for VIP guests. I had made many efforts to try and obtain an exemption for a recurring coffee customer who lives in the area. One manager agreed to my request. Then this was questioned again. Met with another manager, Mr Andreas Huck, if I am not mistaken? I was asked to email him my details and he would get back to me. Never heard back from anyone? A bit disappointing! But maybe I just fell through the cracks!? I may not be a hotel guest, renting a room. But coming weekly with a friend or two for coffee and or a dessert, over time, must account for something? Anyway, just a little disappointing that I didn't hear back one way or another? As the fourth floor restaurant is not really to my liking. Accomodating the array of customers an establishment has, only enhances its standing in the community overall.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hobart and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was comfortable, though I did miss having access to fresh air. The beds were large and comfy, the TV was good, and thankfully, the view from my room wasn't bad. Room service was generally okay, although there were times when it was very late. However, I encountered significant issues with the staff that affected my overall experience. It seems that the duty manager and the reception area staff are not adequately trained in customer service. Communicating with them was difficult, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. The concierge staff were an exception to this – they were okay, capable of greeting guests warmly and being helpful. That said, I noticed a discrepancy in the behavior of the male and female staff. While the male staff could manage basic courtesies like saying hello and being helpful, the female staff often resorted to fake smiles and appeared to be pretending to be busy rather than genuinely engaging with guests.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, walking distance to most restaurants, shops and waterfront. Room was absolutely immaculate when we arrived. Super clean. Great views of Hobart. Easy access to transport. Would definitely recommend. Family of 4 :)

A convenient central location. All staff were kind and friendly! Buffet breakfast was a wonderful treat each morning and an 11am check out time was appreciated! Will be recommending to friends and family!!
