Not a bad place , bit overpriced for the food , good gaming venue, friendly staff.... Edit , I thought I give the grill bar bisto part ago today, The service was great friendly warm welcomed. The chefs seem like they knew what their doing ,but it was just all looks , I was impressed how well the food looked until I tried it , it was very chewy and dried like its been cooled down and reheated , The meals are up there in price so I expect it to be good but it was far from it, Fair to say I won't be coming back to the bistro part. Also what was pretty disappointing is that they had a decent range of steaks to choose from but don't have garlic butter,

You can’t go wrong with the Express lunch at the Blackburn Hotel. Great value, perfect size for lunch. But I’d avoid the QR ordering - it’s a bit glitchy.

A good place for casual dining and drinking. The bowl of chips in the bar are great. The only downside is the service. I always try to get served by one of the guys as most of the girls behind the bar here have an attitude.

Extremely disappointing experience overall. Decided to go out for a pub meal with the family but in hindsight we wish we didn't go. There is no real service to speak of and what little service there is, is of a quite curt and uninterested nature. We got there and had no one welcome us or show us to our table, when we were sitting down a woman hurried past and quite rudely stated "the kitchen closes in one hour so you better order quickly". We weren't given any menus or anything and instead had to find a QR code scanner that didn't work (page would timeout on all devices) After walking to the counter to order they pointed to the menus and told us to pick them up and come back to order. After doing so we had to wait at the bar for 5 mins for someone to come and take our order. The food came quickly but was obviously frozen as the fish and chips were very bland and had no flavour at all. The chicken Schnitzel was very dry and hard and also lacked flavour. The ribs looked juicy and tender but sadly despite being tender the sauce lacked any flavour and just tasted like Heinz barbeque sauce. We asked for some condiments like tobacco or chilli flakes and after 5 mins we were told they didn't have any. Food was very pricey for the serving size and quality of food as well I definitely wouldn't go back here, an extremely disappointing experience and not one that I would recommend to anyone.

I went to the Sports Bar. Small but cute vibes. Cheap food but not very good food. Chips undercooked. Schnitzel overcooked. Garlic bread had no butter on it. Other ALH venues are better.
