Lovely day watching the footy on the big screen in the beer garden for my 1st visit to the hotel.The bar man was very welcoming.The service very prompt. The mixed roast,alcoholic lemonade were delicious. I look forward to going back.

My partner and I went for the $39 steak special and added the $25 bottomless wine and it truely amazing. The food was delicious and generous and the service was top tier. I’d definitely recommend the $39 steak special to anyone, 100% worth it! I can’t wait to come back

Do not go here! My friend and I had a terrible experience. The service provided by the venue manager was deplorable to say the least. They made a mistake with our bill and “apparently” instead of charging my friend, they claim to have “refunded” and therefore provided a credit to her. There was no credit showing in my friend’s account and they still pressured her into paying for her whole meal plus the apparent “credit” that is “meant to go into her account in a couple of days”. I politely said to the venue manager that they should just “wear this one” but she insisted my friend pay the full amount. My friend didn’t even have the money in her account and dipped into her savings. I advocated the best I could without causing a scene as my friend felt too uncomfortable to speak up and say she didn’t even have the money (over $100). The venue manager was incredibly patronizing towards me when I asked that she write some notes on the back of the receipt about that happened. The venue manager claimed my friend would be looked after with a free drink next time she came in. I’m perplexed as to why the “free drink” wouldn’t instead have come off the bill due to the inconvenience?? If my friend doesn’t end up receiving a credit, she needs to go out of her way across the city to go back in and try and get her money back!!!!! To top it off they tried to include a surcharge that we didn’t know existed until my friend pointed it out and then we received an apology for that.

A reasonable pub. The food is usually good, as is the service. The beer list is a bit vanilla considering the number of taps (last time I visited there was a sour, Hard Solo, 2 x pale ales, 2-3 lagers). Would be nice if they included an IPA and/or stout, but that's probably not what their beer-drinking clientele prefer. Corner bar section is nice, though the bar is never serviced in that spot. Music is often set to the same (loud) level throughout the entire pub, so can be tricky finding a quieter spot at 5pm if that's what you're after.

AMAZING food!! Had the steak and sunday roast, both were surprisingly extremely delicious. The space is quite large and good for large parties. Highly, highly recommended. Will come again for the food !!
