All stars are to Rahul. Makes my time at the palace great every time. You know you have a good local when they remember your order. Later update, this is still the best local in the area. There has been many renovations happening lately, but the bar is still open and offering great service and prices.

Update to: Tried to visit for lunch supposedly their bistro “has been closed for months” Why are you still advertising those services on Google? The google maps listing STILL SHOWS. “If it's pub classics you're after, we've got that sorted. Our chef's pulled together a selection of pub meals you'll love, from great quality steaks to fish and chips, and vegetarian options in between. Sing out if you have dietary questions, we cater for vegan and gluten free options. Our bar is stocked with a range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic options for everyone to enjoy. Delicious food. Has a menu for kids and as well as seniors. Good value. Opposite the train and very near tram stop. It does have pokies as well as the tv screen. Can get busy. Has a function area as well.
