Great little local pub ! Good prices ; Eaten there a few times, good every time but today… tried the Sunday roast.. and come on ! Very very poor!! Don’t understand how you can even sell that tbh. Like I said never been disappointed before with all other choices & Will be back no problem, but not for the roast 🫣

The place is nice and there is outdoor seating (with a pool table). The staffs are also friendly. Visiting on Thursday for a steak and it’s really good! Paid for $25 and you got Porterhouse steak, chips, salad, and pot of beer/ glass of wine. Will definitely be back.

a simple pub on the corner of Queensberry Street and Swanston Street, Carlton, Melbourne. lively and good vibe and atmosphere inside the restaurant. we came here on a Thursday night for the steak special. $25 steak with chips and gravy, and including a drink. Taste was great. Some parking around on the side streets, the side servings were generous and would recommend to come back. There's an outdoor section.

I love the pub. Great outside beer gardens area, pool table and nice friendly staff particularly Elkie. The locals (many of them U of Melbourne students) are also nice and engaging. I felt right at home there.

Bar under-staffed, and VERY slow on a Wednesday night for the large number of patrons. Prices inconsistent for drinks - first 2 house whites were $8.00, then offered an "large" wine of the same type, and charged $19!! Why more than double? Same price as my Buffalo Wings for 1 wine. Loud trivia night going on right next to the bar, so I wasn't going to quibble. Mainly student crowd, very loud. Food was fine, good size, if not messy (as wings are). Good idea to book if you want a table, or go early
