I had the cheeseburger and it was top notch. 2 of my friends had burgers too and said they were fantastic. One friend had the calamari and loved it. Wine was good too. No complaints. Service is friendly and it seems like they enjoy working there.

The place is nice and there is outdoor seating (with a pool table). The staffs are also friendly. Visiting on Thursday for a steak and it’s really good! Paid for $25 and you got Porterhouse steak, chips, salad, and pot of beer/ glass of wine. Will definitely be back.

Great little local pub ! Good prices ; Eaten there a few times, good every time but today… tried the Sunday roast.. and come on ! Very very poor!! Don’t understand how you can even sell that tbh. Like I said never been disappointed before with all other choices & Will be back no problem, but not for the roast 🫣

a simple pub on the corner of Queensberry Street and Swanston Street, Carlton, Melbourne. lively and good vibe and atmosphere inside the restaurant. we came here on a Thursday night for the steak special. $25 steak with chips and gravy, and including a drink. Taste was great. Some parking around on the side streets, the side servings were generous and would recommend to come back. There's an outdoor section.

Worst experience that I have had in years. Made a reservation. Stood at the doorway of the dining room for five minutes. The staff made no eye contact and just kept walking past us. Eventually I stopped one and mentioned that we had a reservation. She said "Is it for Heidi?" Umm, we're two men. I asked her if I looked like a Heidi. I ordered a steak that I could hardly chew. Toughest steak I've ever encountered. Couldn't finish it. Won't be going back. Don't eat here. The food and service are awful. If I could give you a zero I would.
