Reviews for Brewdog Pentridge

BrewDogs at the former Pentridge Prison is a great historic place to enjoy a meal and a drink. With plenty of outdoor tables and chairs, it is a terrific place to have to relax and 'chew the fat'. Also fantastic venue on a beautiful sunny day! While I haven't sat there, there's dining options inside - upstairs and downstairs. The historic prison has been impressively renovated and now serves a new set of less anxious clients. Some of the beers are named with a respectful nod to the darker origins of the venue. You can take home a few different sorts of beers too :-) This great place is always worth a visit when in the area. Friendly staff add to the enjoyment of the experience. Here are some photos from a couple of recent visits.

This place is very unique. I love the layout and parking is easy (the underground parking at the next door shopping centre was free for 2-3 hour , forgot which one). Price for food is a little high for me but it's similar to other comparable places. We tried the pizza and it was really good. Wings were good but portion is on a smaller side fore the price. They have all-you-can-eat wings on one of the weekdays, booking essential. Definitely will visit again to try the all you can eat option

Atmosphere is ok for a pub. looks pretty at night. we found a table inside, away from the rowdy drinkers outside. gorgeous inside. I ordered using the QR on the table. food and drinks came out at a reasonable time, and were presented well. the dishes looked so good, but really lacked in flavour and deliciousness. I left half on the plate and bought snacks from nearby IGA. Also, mid meal we were greeted by a cockroach on the table, climbing the menus and cutlery holder. 🤢 might be a great place to catch up with mates for a drink, but I wouldn't go there for the food.

Best Parma & Schnitzels in my opinion! Have been back multiple times and it has always been consistently good, even the eggplant one! Never dry, always crispy and well seasoned. Even the chips and salad are good! Service is a hit and miss depending on if they are correctly staffed. Great beer garden that is dog friendly!

Nice open space that's good for sunny, warm days as well as wet weather. Misters on when we were there (see video), which kept things cool during my visit. Heaters for the winter months and TVs all over the place for sport. Food variety is broad, but sadly the Caesar salad had no croutons, and no option to add anchovies!
