Few night ago we decided to try Le Bon Ton and we can confirm it is a great place to come with friends for a enjoyable night out. Food is prepared well, simple but taste good, Smokey "Everything" as you would expect!!!. Service is really friendly and whole atmosphere is quite relaxed....looks like typical Pub setting and lot of space to sit with larger groups too, different areas and courtyard is great as well We would recommend. Although it’s got a very non Australian name now this lovely old inner city pub has retained a great character. There is a very welcoming bar, several eating areas and a courtyard. Good menu with great deals! We had the lunch deal and the food was delicious. The service was first rate too.

Well preserved and beautifully setup establishment. It's a lot bigger than it looks from outside. Good food too! Really loved their Southern Fried Chicken!! Will be back to try more.

Great atmosphere with lovely interior, lighting, and a cozy fireplace. We tried the beef brisket, smoked eggplant falafel sandwich, potato salad, and chili bean fries. While the vibe was nice, the food was average for the price, and mains didn’t come with sides. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return for the food—better value at any average pubs.

My wife and I dined here on Tuesday night, and being visitors to Melbourne we thought it was well worth the walk out of town. The place wasn’t full but there were enough people dining & at the bar to give it a buzz & atmosphere. The smells of smoked foods were everywhere 👍🏻 We had a sharing platter with smoked sausage, brisket, chicken & pulled pork with two sides and we could hardly finish it. We can heartily recommend the food here. We didn’t have a drink at the bar but it seemed lively enough. All-in-all, a good evening 👍🏻
