It’s a great dining experience, everything goes well and we all enjoyed the dinner so much. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. There are rich choices and selections of international wines and drinks. We ordered the recommended set menu and the food is excellent and tasty, the portions and courses are more than enough.

We visited Amazon State on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary, but sadly, mentioning the occasion when booking was completely pointless. Not only was there zero acknowledgment, but we were also given a random table, rather than a booth or a nicer seating arrangement that would have made the evening feel special. It left us wondering what the point was of mentioning our anniversary at all. The highlight of the night was Justin’s service. He was professional, patient, and took the time to introduce us to the menu, and at the end, walked us to the door to check if everything was okay. Unfortunately, the rest of the team didn’t match his level of care. One of his male colleagues was unhelpful throughout the evening, and service felt inattentive overall. We were charged for sparkling water per person, yet my glass sat empty for almost an hour until I finally had to ask for a refill. To make matters worse, we had to follow up on the wine my husband ordered, as it still hadn’t arrived halfway through our entrée. While the food was good, it wasn’t special enough to justify the subpar service. The beautiful interior and Justin’s efforts were the redeeming qualities of the night, but overall, it was disappointing to see the rest of the team letting down what could have been a memorable anniversary dinner. With some improvements in service and attention to detail, this could be a great experience, but as it stands, it fell short.

Beautiful dinner with a great setting. Decor was thoughtful and modern from the recent reconstruction. Cocktail and food menu were both extensive. Really recommend the kingfish crudo and campfire cocktail. Really friendly staff too, provided great service and recommendations.

An outstanding dining experience at Amazon State Restaurant awaits! From the warm atmosphere to the sumptuous food, everything was great, above expectations. Attentive staff guaranteed smooth service, delivered the menu full of imagination and decorated with quality materials. Big kudos to anyone who wants to embark on a truly unforgettable food journey!

Luxurious environment with fabulous food. The food and the wine list is on a par with any of the Hatted restaurants I have eaten at in Melbourne. The service is very friendly, and they have good knowledge of the menu, but it could be a bit more attentive at times and would certainly would not stop me visiting again. I asked the other guests if they would eat at the Restuarant again, and the answer was definitely.
