Hadn't been in years - used to be my local when I lived in the area. Had dinner last night and the food was 10/10, really nice vegetarian options. Had the roasted pumpkin, mash and veggies were absolutely delicious! Very very busy on a Saturday night, but the food and drinks came out very quickly. Like how you have the QR scanner on the table so you can sit and enjoy without having to line up. Will be back soon. :)

Fantastic lunch by the river! First visit for me and it lived up to the reputation. Thanks to the chef for grilling the fish too, thankfully we shared the plate. We'll be back

It’s been about 8 years since I’ve visited the Anglers as the last meal didn’t impress though we were lured back in by the renovation and sizeable kids area (which is very impressive albeit chaotic). Seems like everyone got the memo about the venue facelift as our first attempt to secure a reservation for our desired date was a bust so I do recommend booking in advance if you can. Upon arrival I couldn’t believe how busy it was. The huge carpark was overflowing and we had to park on the street though it was a race day so may have contributed to capacity. You order on your phone (which I really don’t like but I see why it’s necessary in a space like this) and the food comes out relatively quickly. We were dining for a birthday and they also don’t charge cakeage which is a bonus. The food itself was enjoyable. My parma was tasty and I sampled someone else’s calamari which was also very yummy. Definitely won’t leave it another 8 years before returning

The Anglers are back stronger and even better, thank you Liliana for giving me this review card! Our family gathering become such an awesome experience with all of your help, gotta say that the professionalism of staffs here are just excellent. Food - in my opinion, was such an improvement. We ordered parma, kids pizza and calamari…every single dish was delicious and tasty. Will definitely be back on the weekends sometime, I’m curious about the place when it is extremely busy!

Firstly, we were put on a table in the back corner of a room that was only half full. My steak was undercooked, tough and grisly and the chips had a bitter taste of what I think was vinegar, even though it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Extremely disappointing experience. Was the first time I had been there, and definitely the last. From what I have read on here, this place only responds to 4 and 5 star reviews. I’m interested to see if I get one.
