As one of the MCG’s largest rooms, it offers more than a venue for your next conference or special event – it offers a quintessential Melbourne experience. Featuring stylish design and luxury furnishings throughout the room befitting a Members' Dining space, the Jim Stynes Grill is now one of the premier function rooms at the MCG. Quality is at the heart of the venue – the finest produce is prepared in the modern open kitchen. Available for corporate and private functions either as a single space or divided in half for more intimate gatherings, the venue is suitable for all events – be it an awards night, cocktail party or formal dinner. The Australian Sports Museum is one of our most dynamic and interactive function venues, featuring the latest technology, new displays and plenty of new interactive experiences for guest to enjoy.

The Jack Ryder Room, named after the champion Victorian and Australian cricketer, overlooks the arena and has perfect views for a lunch, dinner, or cocktail event. The Jack Ryder Room offers the ultimate in flexibility, with the capability to break into three separate rooms. This versatile space is perfect for a conference with a separate catering area or as part of a larger event which requires break-out rooms. The room also features a pre-function area with bar furniture perfect for networking drinks. Multiple data projectors and screens are available in the room, allowing for a variety of set-ups including cabaret, banquet, and theatre style.

The famous Long Room leather couches offer premium views of the hallowed turf, and are complimented by the fine selection of sporting memorabilia displayed within. The Long Room is located in the Members' Reserve on Level 2.

The Committee Room features spectacular views towards the hallowed turf and an exceptional range of paintings, photographs and iconic features depicting the MCG’s long and proud history. Functions and conferences booked in the MCC Committee Room feature a menu curated by one of Melbourne's most highly regarded chefs, Guy Grossi. The MCC Library contains one of the most comprehensive and varied collections of sporting books and ephemera in the world. Covering sports played by the MCC and at the MCG, the collection’s strengths are cricket, Australian football and the Olympic Games, with substantial holdings in a number of other sports. The Changerooms have been one of the highlights on the MCG Tour, where visitors are taken down race and into the rooms to explore the locker area, warm up and coaches briefing room.
