Having stayed in other RACV hotels, I had quite high expectations. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff were great. Some staff at the front desk could have been more helpful (we were actually told that we couldn't have two keys when there were two of us?? Then a different front desk staff member the next day provided one with no issues). The mattress was not great but otherwise the room was fine. Location is great and Creswick is a lovely town.

Lovely building. Bedroom was really nice. The restaurant is great; the buffet breakfast has everything and lots of options. We had a dinner also which was very gourmet and professional. Swimming Pool and Gym were clean and in great order. The location of the resort is great, very close to Creswick Town and surrounding towns. Staff were very welcoming and professional.

We just stayed at RACV Goldfields after booking the epicurean escape special via an RACV email. From the moment I called up to book it the staff have been beyond accommodating. They booked my extended family in rooms close by but due to a mishap one family member was at the other end of the building. They quickly moved them into another room close by (a much fancier room than we had booked). They also included the kids breakfast for us both days with no additional charge. Golf and a cart was included with the deal. Again, everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful (some of us had never golfed before). The rooms are lovely, modern, comfortable and clean. I asked for a place to do some work stuff quietly - they gave me a private office to work out of. The kids (aged 2 and 4) loved the heated pool, games room and playground. Even the little waterfall outside the restaurant kept them occupied for ages. The deal we had was such great value but it’s the staff and their helpfulness that’s the main reason we’ll be back for for sure. Thank you RACV Goldfields.

Room is clean and having a fantastic view, however the retractable clothesline inside the hotel room was broken and toilet needs longer press to flash properly. The facility in the resort was great, but can be get really crowded during busy seasons. The complimentary breakfast buffet in The Three Founders restaurant was excellent, highly recommended.

Generally brilliant. Clean, in good condition and good service. Nice country town, loads of places to visit by car. Has kids facilities and a golf course. Food was good, but a bit exe$. Strange entries to pool and gym and main restaurant. Car park could use some exit direction signs
