A real true local for once. Real pub food at reasonable prices and a nice, easy drinking house red wine. We had the mixed grill, wagyu beef burger and Sunday Roast Lamb. The mixed grill was perfect. The fried egg provided just a little bit ooze - just the way it should. Right amount of chips, veg etc. and was just busy enough to provide a great vibe - but not too loud. The roast was well enjoyed too. A decent amount of all the Sunday roast favourites. My only comment would be that my lamb had no crust. But it won’t stop us from ordering it next time. And there will be a next time!

We stopped in for lunch. Staff are friendly service is great and food great. Parking is an issue though.

I had the crispy skin barramundi with an orange and fennel salad, and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was cooked perfectly, with the skin super crispy and the flesh nice and tender. The salad was so fresh and full of flavor—sweet, juicy orange slices paired with the crunchy fennel made the perfect match for the fish. The whole dish felt light but still really satisfying. It’s one of those meals you’d happily order again without thinking twice. Simple, fresh, and so tasty!

Walking past on a windy autumn evening this pub looked promising, and as soon as I entered it felt comfortable and homely. Fairly quiet on a weeknight but enough people to add a vibe. Service was prompt and friendly and my steak was cooked to perfection. If you’re in Port Melbourne and looking for a dinner spot this establishment is highly recommended.

0 star for the - mixed grill. Give it a miss. Delete from menu until the meats in this dish are greatly improved to make edible and add some flavour please. Especially the steak was disgraceful - chewy lump of meat and tasteless. A Rip off at more than $30.
