Needed a bite in the city, so dropped in. The door security were super friendly and inviting. It’s mostly counter service so you need to either QR or bar service. But anyone else that came to our table was super friendly. They had a great band on (well 2 piece band), but the acoustics are tricky in there, so it was hard to talk and catch up properly. Perhaps because it wasn’t super busy to absorb the sound. Food was GREAT. Not a huge dish and pricey, but JUST enough.

I had an event with some friends here recently and everything was amazing. From food, to the venue, to the staff it all went smoothly and we couldn't have been happier with this amazing picturesque location.

We dropped by Garden State Hotel on a Monday night and loved its relaxed vibes. Our visit was even more enjoyable as we managed to snag a cozy table next to the fireplace. They boast an impressive selection of cocktails, and I am a fan of its gin-based drinks. We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken and Salt & Pepper Calamari, which were full of flavour and great for sharing. It's a great spot for after-work drinks with its convenient CBD location and buzzing atmosphere on Friday nights.

Tonight I was walking around the city and we decided to come in to have a drink with a friend. We didn’t have any trouble to enter at the door, but passed midnight a security guard approach to me very aggressively and told me that I couldn’t be there wearing a cropped tank top, just because I looked like a guy(I identify myself as non-binary), even though most of the girls were wearing similar clothes. It was really uncomfortable because I was having a really good night, and I had really like the place, but of course after that we decided to go and won’t be back there again.
