King room is very spacious, modern, clean and tidy. The bed is massive and amenities are adequate. Our room is on the 8th floor and we could hear the train passing by every time. The noise was noticeable but didn’t bother me. Buffet breakfast was alright, the usual food you would find in any hotel buffet. Tried one morning and didn’t go back. I loved the indoor hotel pool – the good atmosphere and decor were perfect. The 25m lap pool was ideal for swimming. Happy to stay here again.

Not all hotels are created equal. I had to rebook from a different hotel that wasn't up to the mark and you could sense the difference just talking to the person at the front desk. Fransisco made us feel welcome and provided us with options and guidance for our requirements. The hotel is fresh and modern. The rooms are spacious and feel well maintained. Even though some of the rooms are overlooking the train track, you can't hear it through the window. The restaurant at level 25 was a pleasant experience, with good food and friendly staff. All in all, a very good experience which I heartily recommend.

Solo business traveller here. This is another well designed Hyatt hotel. What makes this hotel special, besides the chic combination of terracotta and earth tone materials, is the Melbourne spirit embedded in many details and also in the very friendly yet professional vibe of the staff. The front desk staff kindly resolved my booking problem in no time, and the Vietnamese staff at the L25 restaurant was brilliant and attentive. Room is spacious, thoughtfully designed and well equipped-everything is within reach and nicely organised. The only downside that bothered me was the sudden noise of the downlights, auto wardrobe lights and even glass plates at night. Understood there was a significant outside temperature difference between day and night…

Beautiful bar and dining area on the top floor, less than a 10 minute walk from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. My friends showed me their rooms which were well equipped and had a fridge. A beautiful inside pool, perfect for a hot summer. Good choice of cocktails and a lengthy happy hour. Well worth a visit. My only critique was that staff took about 50 minutes to clear a used table, but, there may have been unexpected staff shortages that I'm unaware of. A very good place.

Hyatt Centric was superb. Staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived and were warmed greeted by Francisco, who efficiently gave us all the information required for an unforgettable stay. This level service was continued throughout the hotel with Kate on breakfast, Tia in the bar/restaurant and Food and Beverage manager Heath. Liam on reception was also most kind and helpful in every way. We would highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely stay here again.
