Great location. Foods were wonderful! Nice selections of quality beers !! Some front of house staff were too busy chatting to look after customers. It was hard to get attention from them.

Dropped by on my way up the board walk (well it's Southbank). Not much changed since here 6yrs ago. Nice range of amber ales. A few Germanic a few not. Nice food but not fantastic, cold beer even good on a cool Melbourne evening. Pretty quiet for a Monday, add some spice and people will come. Pints seem odd size for a pint. Compared to 🇹🇠640ml is $5 and here 500ml is $13 or more. Always thought a pint was 580ml, not 500 but hey.

Great selection of German and European beers and outdoor setting makes for a pleasant experience. However, a large group of guys were getting drunk, behaving unruly and throwing up in the toilets left a lot to be desired. Not the venue’s fault, but it should be mindful of other patrons.

Do yourself a favour and AVOID completely. The $32 pork belly is sad looking AND tastes atrocious. The $16 wine is terrible. Seriously could not wait to get out of there and didn't even finish the pork belly as I couldn't stomach chewing it. From walking in through the door to the sub par service and terrible food, just avoid completely. They used to be good so sad to see it go downhill 😔

Lovely place to spend an afternoon, enjoying good company or simply people watching. We sat and shared the cheese platter and calamari over a few drinks on a Sunday afternoon. It was the perfect place down by the river, not too loud or busy and with lovely views of the Yarra River.
