Stayed at the Marriott with a friend for the Tina Turner show and my first time here. Staff were amazing and couldn’t help you enough. Room was extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was great as well. Special thankyou too Cody for helping us out with the TV, prompt service and a courteous young man. Hope to come back again.

I stayed here for two nights during a business trip. Pros: The location was ideal for me, as it’s close to the conference venue. The staff were very friendly and did their best to assist us with anything we needed. Cons: The price feels a bit high for such an old property(300+ for a basic room) with visible wear and tear throughout. The swimming pool is too small for an adult, and the gym is also quite limited.

Welcomed with bubbly upon check in. Courteous staff provided top notch service. Nice sized, quiet, clean room. Restaurant and bar on site. A magic show was on in the bar one evening of a five night stay. Walking distance to theaters! Parliament transport station is at the top of the hill on Lonsdale. An excellent value. Nice hotel corner of Lonsdale Street and Exhibition street Melbourne 3000.

I booked a room on Book.com and upgraded to a city view for an extra $60. However, on my first night, I didn't get the city view room. I spoke with a staff member at the reception, and she offered to move me for the next three nights. I declined because I had already spent a night in the room without the view and had a lot of luggage. She said she would talk to her manager and call me later about a refund, but no one contacted me in the following days. When I checked out, I asked for the refund, but I was told that the hotel hadn’t received any request from Book.com. I needed to contact them myself. I called the number on their website, and the staff said they would check with the hotel and get back to me. Instead, I received an email saying they couldn’t reach an agreement and needed more documentation, which I had already provided multiple times to the hotel staff. This whole process has wasted a lot of my time, and I’m really disappointed with the customer service at Marriott.

Best hotel in Melbourne. Great location center of the city with many tram service close by. The hotel staffs were friendly always available and helpful. M Club had good selection for breakfast and evening snacks. Good if you are traveling with family or for business trip.
