I had a great stay at Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne. The location is fantastic — close to everything, which made it super convenient to explore the city. The hotel provides full 24-hour security, which made me feel safe at all times. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. I really appreciated that they stored my baggage both before check-in and after check-out — it made my travel so much easier. Highly recommend!

Right from moment you walk in the reception staff are terrific. The rooms are modern and well appointed. I also found the breakfast buffet great and the ground restaurant offered great food at reasonable prices in the evenings. So it was very convenient for me given the in-house services available. The location is also very good with the centre of Melbourne and all that comes with that within walking distance. Buses and tram services are also available.

I give this hotel a rating of 10/10. The staff is very nice—especially the lady at the front desk who was very helpful. She arranged an early check-in and even upgraded my room for just a few extra dollars. After the worst experience last night with another hotel, I booked the Grand Chancellor Hotel in Melbourne, and I definitely recommend it. It’s close to the city, surrounded by great cafes, and also has a beautiful bar inside the hotel.

Stayed here recently and had a great experience. The reception team were consistently welcoming throughout the entire stay, which was a really nice touch — you don’t often see that level of care beyond check-in and check-out. When my room wasn’t ready, they offered me a drink while I waited, and even proactively moved my room to a quieter area as there was a two-day event planned outside. Really liked the service, and the newer rooms are nice.

Back again this time for our anniversary and the team were very accommodating and even surprised us with an upgrade and a bottle of champagne. The lifts are near completion and as always the room was very comfortable and quiet. This is the best hotel and location to navigate the CDB
