My experience at Village Cinemas Gold Class was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was treated to an unparalleled level of comfort and luxury that truly elevated my movie night to something extraordinary. The seating alone is worth raving about—spacious, plush recliners with plenty of legroom and a convenient call button for service at your fingertips. It felt like sinking into a cloud while watching a blockbuster on the big screen. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The ability to order gourmet food and drinks straight to my seat was a game-changer. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, and the cocktails were fantastic! The picture and sound quality were, as expected, top-notch, fully immersing me in the film. The smaller, more intimate theater setup also made the experience feel exclusive and personal. My husband and I went to watch a working man movie,we pre ordered 3 courses meals and some drinks. Service were great recliner seats are comfortable but was super terrible it’s crap!! Never again!! We will only come to watch movies and drinks but never order any food from this cinema.. it was so disappointing.!! Crap food pizza was over cooked and dry didn’t even put any cheese,cheese burger was gross patties were undercooked. The only nice we had was the churros. Please change your chef or you’ll lose money!!!

Village the worst of the franchise theatres? Having frequented Hoyts and Reading a lot recently since my last visit to Village it was such a disappointment. The seats were old, no reclining whatsoever, barely any padding almost like sitting in a plastic chair, and some had rips in them. The sound was either mixed poorly or the speakers of Cinema 5 can’t handle the audio as it was muffled in bass moments and whiny in pitchy moments. The choc top was powdery and had a bizarre texture I’ve never experienced before. Back to Reading to spend much less on a ticket for a supreme comfort seat!

Definitely one of my favourite Village Cinema centres to book. Clean and tidy, great staff. Great service even when they are very busy. No mess ups with the food at Doncaster…. Very happy to come. Just a little bit further for us to come from Rowville.

Village Doncaster has to be the worst branch ever. Apart from one staff member Daniella every one else here just doesn't care and doesn't have the knowledge to work here. This can only stem from the failure that is this branch Doncaster. I have been to other branches and everything from service, staff to cleanliness of theatre and the toilets and Doncaster fails miserably. This branch also does not comply with the rest of specials that Village has and if you contact their customer service to complain its not taken seriously. If emailed about this branch but no joy so please don't ask for me to email customer service again. Rather look at this review and make a change to this branch. Take Village Knox for example. Now everything there is up to class. Avoid this branch and spend your money at elsewhere if you value service, quality and cleanliness.
