Took our kids to the kids cinema to see moana2 and it was great. One of my children uses a wheelchair to get around and there was plenty of room for him to sit. And move at the top/back of the cinema. Took him and his younger siblings down the big slide before the movie and at intermission and they loved it. It was very difficult getting my son up to the slide to keep him included with all the other kids but it was doable and they all had fun!

Service is not very well controlled. People are everywhere and it becomes chaos. The popcorn sizes have gone down again. We ordered 2x large boxes. We received 2 different sizes. When asking the staff member they advised the sizes have just changed and the are out of the old large size box. We had the last one. So one new size, one old size. The chairs in the cinema were disgusting. Food spills, popcorn and the cushioning has very much deteriorated. For the price of the tickets, it should be nicer. Better to save money and go to an older cinema for cheaper.

Gold Class last night - got ignored at the front desk for a good five mins. Was not greeted nicely. Food was horrible. One burger cold, the other too hot - how does that even happen? One was microwaved and the other wasn't?? Cinema was not air-conditioned and was stifling!! Coffee afterwards was disgusting. Tasted like it was made from leftover coffee grinds. Half the staff were friendly - the other half weren't. Overall it was a horrible experience and two stars is probably generous.

Took the grandkids to see The Wild Robot. The session said VMAX so I thought we are in the newly renovated seating. NO WERE DOWN THE BACK IN CINEMA 11. Here is a plan of what seating I thought I paid for, but didn't get.

I was in cinema 10 watching Companion while snacking on my junior popcorn. While snacking on my well seasoned popcorn I noticed something moving in the corner of my eye, when I looked over I noticed a MOUSE sitting beside me on the neighbouring seat watching the movie with me. I made a noise and the mouse ran away (sorry mouse for disturbing your movie time). I moved across the empty cinema to another seat not wanting to cross paths with Mr mouse again. While I thought I was in the clear I saw Mr mouse’s possible COUSIN scavenging in the aisle in front of me. The rest of the movie was accompanied by sounds of mice in the walls (they sounded like fully grown possums which makes me anxious and possibly never want to return to cinema 10 again). I am happy that these mice get to watch an abundance of movies for free in this economy. I also hope they snack well on the insanely priced snacks and drinks, at least they’re not going to waste.
