I was there in a trivia night. It was so,much of fun. Food came out fast and yummy. Staffs are super friendly. I love the swing seats outside of the Cornerstone. Perfect for a sunny day.

I absolutely love this place! Whether it’s for a lunch / play date with my group of moms, a romantic dinner or a fresh beer (they serve Guinness), this place has it all. I have no idea how it isn’t busier (although it’s very nice that it’s quiet) as it’s such an awesome pub. It’s huge and gorgeous inside, the swings outside are great and the food is delicious. Juan always welcomes us with a massive smile and is so accommodating and pleasant even when we come with a group of wild toddlers. By far ma favourite pub in Port Melbourne and their specials are a bonus.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Cornerstone! Steak night tonight - only $25! So delicious, T-bone cooked to perfection with tasty chips & zesty salad🤤 And the staff are just gorgeous - absolutely divine and professional and personable 😍 Parking is easy & free, lovely outdoor area to dine at. Inside decor is great and comfy. Everyone in Melbourne should be here right now!! 🤩 Don't worry - they have excellent & value for money specials most nights so you can come any day or night of the week! God I love supporting LOCAL ♥️

Joined friends here on a Groupon. We were limited to the Classic Pub menu which included garlic bread starter, a main and glass of wine. We ordered the tropical burger, bangers and mash, fish & chips and chicken Parma. My friend ordered extra entrees for the table as well. The entrees were tasty and plentiful. Also quite filling. When the mains arrived we were like what have we done? Huge! Very large servings for the price. No one could finish although we gave it our British best. Desserts were calling our name so we had to try them out. Mixed emotions there. Only two choices and a bit pricey. The chocolate brownie was a decent serve and vanilla ice cream was a hit. The cake however was tiny and fairly lackluster. Honey syrup saved it from being a total disappointment. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was cute; open and cosy. Live music on Saturday nights from a very talented pianist. We’ll be back. But not for the dessert.

Amazingly good food for a pub. Best calamari I’ve had in years! The chef, Sam, is a class above, really loves to cook special sauces. Even better, their $22 specials (Tuesday to Friday) include great food (different every day), a drink and chips. Well done, guys. I was back the next night with my family. Highly recommended.
