Pullman Melbourne Albert Park – A Memorable Stay Our stay at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park was a wonderful experience. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the beautiful Albert Park Lake, which is undoubtedly one of the best views the hotel has to offer. Waking up to the peaceful lake scenery and Melbourne skyline made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's facilities were excellent, with modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and well-maintained common areas that provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. The staff were professional and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. One of the standout features of this property is its impressive conference and event facilities. The hotel boasts a large function hall capable of accommodating well over 1,000 guests, making it an ideal venue for major conferences, corporate events, and large gatherings. During our visit, we attended a church service led by Prophet Jerome Fernando of Glorious Church, and the venue was exceptionally well suited for hosting such a large congregation. The spacious layout, excellent acoustics, and professional event setup contributed to a seamless experience. Overall, Pullman Melbourne Albert Park offers a great combination of comfort, stunning views, quality facilities, and outstanding event spaces. Whether you're visiting for business, a conference, or a leisure stay, it is a hotel that delivers a memorable Melbourne experience.

Lovely hotel. Super helpful and staff were very friendly. Only downside was, as a coeliac, I would have liked more options. Breakfast was fine, with a dedicated GF section at the buffet, but lunch and dinner options were limited, and with so many GF beers on the market (Two Bays is my favourite), I am constantly surprised why hotels don't have some in the fridge for their coeliac guests. Otherwise, excellent in all respects.

This hotel is run by a bunch of clowns and has no business calling itself a 5-star property. I stayed at Pullman Melbourne Albert Park for a business trip expecting the standard of service associated with a 5-star hotel. Instead, I experienced repeated housekeeping failures, poor communication, rude staff, and unacceptable hygiene standards over multiple consecutive days. After my room wasn’t serviced, I had to repeatedly chase housekeeping before Daniel and the duty manager eventually attended late in the evening. Rather than taking ownership of the situation, they displayed poor attitudes, expected me to point out basic cleaning tasks, and after they left, they even left a used tissue on my room counter. The following day, the room was again cleaned to a poor standard. When I raised the issue with Richard, he refused to note down the problems, offered no apology, and showed no empathy or urgency in resolving the situation. I also dealt with Hank, who promised at check-out that I would receive Accor points as a goodwill gesture. Those points never arrived, which only reinforced the lack of follow-through and accountability I experienced throughout my stay. From Daniel, to Richard, to Hank, every interaction seemed to reflect the same culture of poor customer service and broken promises. Rather than resolving issues, staff passed responsibility around while I was left chasing basic housekeeping and trying to get someone to take my concerns seriously. Mistakes happen, but repeated failures over multiple days, combined with poor attitudes, hygiene issues, and unfulfilled promises, are completely unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as 5-star. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting genuine 5-star service.

Our stay was fabulous, the staff were very accommodating. We got to our beautiful room to find a fruit platter and a happy birthday card for my partner which we were very grateful for. The top level Lakeview room was unreal, very cosy, very clean. The buffet breakfast & cafe were great. Good little gym in there with decent equipment to have a good workout . The only thing I could critique is having to pay $70 parking for two nights, it would have been nice if the car park was included with the stay as the car park was pretty much empty anyway, or even just a bit cheaper would have been nice. Other than that, it was beautiful!

We were very disappointed with our stay. The hotel is advertised as modern, but in reality it is quite run down and does not reflect what is shown online. Our arrival experience was particularly poor. Somehow, my name had been entered incorrectly in the system, with my first and last name reversed, and we were initially told that we didn’t have a booking. This created unnecessary stress after a long journey and felt extremely unprofessional. Staff were also unable to clearly explain the hotel’s offerings, which added to the disorganised experience. The room itself fell well below expectations — the TV was not a smart TV, there was no waterfall shower as advertised, and the windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. Even basic functionality was an issue, with the basin only suitable for handwashing and the shower temperature constantly fluctuating between hot and cold. The shower setup was also impractical — my husband, who is 6ft tall, had to duck just to wash properly. The air conditioning was so bad that we had to leave the room as it was so hot. For a rate of over $1,200 per night, the overall experience felt very average and not at all aligned with the premium pricing. The only standout of our stay was the food. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent, and lunch at the bar was also very enjoyable. Overall, it was extremely disappointing, particularly given how misleading the advertising is compared to the actual condition of the hotel.
