I recently ordered a Caprese salad and a separate prosciutto dish for pickup, totaling $40. Upon opening my order at home, I was appalled to find that the tomatoes in the Caprese salad were moldy and appeared to have been eaten by insects. The mozzarella portion was minuscule, and the prosciutto consisted of only two slices. This level of quality is unacceptable and poses serious food safety concerns. Having previously enjoyed meals from this restaurant, this experience was deeply disappointing. I urge the establishment to address these issues promptly to ensure the health and satisfaction of its customers.

Dawson’s truly exceeded all of my expectations. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service—thank you, Paul, for being such a wonderful host. You made the experience even more memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was a solid 10/10. The ambience of the restaurant was perfect, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It’s definitely a place you need to visit for both the quality of the food and the overall experience. I’ll certainly be returning again soon!

This is a mixed review. The chicken schnitzel was marginally overcooked and sprinkled with some sort of cheese and capers which my son scrapped off. The calamari was nice and tender but portion size was more entry than main. The fries were also good

My husband and I enjoyed both the food and atmosphere at Dawson Bar and Restaurant. Our favourite was the Burrata with puffed bread served as an entree.
